Varyos Visual: Terms of Use

1. What the app is

Varyos Visual helps a welding inspector record visual testing (VT) and compare measured imperfections with acceptance limits taken from standards. It is a tool for a qualified person. It is not a standard, not a certification and not an inspection body.

2. Your responsibility

The final decision to accept or reject a weld belongs to qualified personnel (for example ISO 9712 or equivalent per the application standard). Results, limits, notes and answers in the app are advice. You must check them against the current edition of the standard, the project specification and the contract. Some data is marked DRAFT because it has not been checked against the standard text. Do not rely on it for acceptance.

3. AI features

AI suggestions (photo areas, document readings, answers in Ask VT) can be wrong or incomplete. They are not measurements and not acceptance decisions, and they never change a result by themselves. A finding drafted from an AI suggestion does not count until you confirm it. The AI features are optional and need your agreement first (see the Privacy Policy).

4. Reports

A completed report is locked and sealed with an integrity hash so later changes can be detected. The hash shows that the stored data was not changed; it does not prove that the inspection itself was correct. You are responsible for the content you enter.

5. Subscriptions

Paid features are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the App Store: monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple account, the subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. A free tier stays available, with the limits described in the app.

6. Standards and trademarks

ISO, EN, GOST and other standards named in the app belong to their publishers. The app contains short parameter summaries for reference, not the standards' text. Buy the standards you work to.

7. No warranty, limited liability

The app is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage resulting from decisions made using the app, including accepting or rejecting a weld. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. Governing law and courts: the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; the courts of Trabzon have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. Contact: team@varyosweld.com.
